The Chew Valley lake is a large man made reservoir tucked in the foothills of the Mendips, it is ten miles south of Bristol.The lake was formed by the construction of a dam on the River Chew near Chew Stoke in the 1950's and today it is a very pleasant place for a walk or to enjoy the other leisure facilities on offer.
